Lisbon: Summer Wedding
‘For the beautiful couple; Mr and Mrs Bloom-Wilcox’
Back in July I went to my cousins wedding; just outside Lisbon at the most beautiful intimate venue, ‘Quinta da Bachina’. This post I really wanted to share some of the most amazing photos from the day; this incredible venue and my summer wedding look..

Can we just appreciate how beautiful this place is ! Quinta da Bichinha on the outskirts of Lisbon is probably one of the most romantic picturesque places I’ve ever been for a wedding. The pictures honestly speak for themselves…
“..perfection in every harvested grape and every celebrated wedding” - Quinta da Bichinha
Quinta da Bichinha is located in the most romantic tranquil spot Lisbon has to offer;... This little gem is a converted country wine estate in what is now used as the perfect romantic wedding venue. Seriously could you get anymore romantic than getting married at what used to be an ancient wine estate!? This is one of those venues if you want an intimate wedding with EVERYTHING all in one place.. perfect if you want to cut out the in between travel for your guests. And if there’s a time to go; that time’s in July when the the whole venue is in bloom and the temperature is in the warm but no too hot 24C. It’s not a huge venue but its cozy and perfect for those intimate destination weddings. The estate is surrounded by vineyards which, as you drive in, you see is the most stunning and tranquil atmosphere. Honestly the cute touches everywhere you turn and the lakeside is perfect for those photo opportunities. We all had our own sleeping quarters; the cutest little cottages and a continental buffet breakfast served each morning. We were lucky enough to get the chance to stay here for 2 nights; where the first night consisted of a BBQ (set up like it was plucked right out of a fairy-tale) to bring the guests and the wedding party together before the big day. The staff appeared to go above and beyond to pull off my cousins dream wedding; the service was incredible; lets just say there’s never a time where you’re left hungry …or sober! However; the one thing I will say is being in the countryside and beside a lake; there will be mosquitos! If you don’t want blotchy skin on your big day; come armed with bug spray! (I learnt the hard way..)
